Shahnaz Gupta Graduated from Guru Nanak Dev Univ. Amritsar, INDIA in 2008. He has more than 16 years of experience in treating patients at private clinics, multispecialty hospital, and INDIAN ARMY hospital as a consultant physiotherapist.
He has knowledge of various Manual therapy techniques (Maitland, Cyriax, Kaltenborn, and Butler). He has excellent communication and therapeutic skills. He has experience in treating all kinds of injuries and treat clients with ICBC/MVA Claim, Worksafe BC Claim, Extended Health Benefits.
I, Nitika Karir, working as a clinical Director( C.E.O) at sunshine physiotherapy and sports clinic. I was born in Jalandhar (Punjab), the northern part of India. I always had a keen interest in physiotherapy and it turned into a passion when I started my bachelor’s program and I became wonderstruck by how healing can take place in the most natural ways.
I did my bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, INDIA. My bachelor’s program laid a strong foundation for my successful career.
I have more than 16 years of clinical experience in treating orthopedics sports, workplace injuries, motor vehicle accident injuries, and arthritis.
My area of expertise is mainly hand on therapy which includes different techniques. I have done acupuncture and dry needling/IMS courses which has further enhanced my practice.
Since I had passed my degree, I had a keen interest in treating women's health and giving support as they need during and after pregnancy. I had compassion towards helping women during and after childbirth and leading differences in their lifestyle, empowering them that after childbirth living a pain-free life is possible!
In 2018, I did my pelvic floor course, and learned that women can live a pain-free life after childbirth! Yes! it is possible.
I have extensive experience in pre and postpartum care, female athletes, pelvic floor conditions affecting women as of pregnancy, urinary incontinence, pelvic floor dysfunction, pelvic girdle pain, pelvic organ prolapse, Diasasits recti, coccydynia, and post-menopausal health.
In my spare time, I enjoy outings with family and friends and traveling to different places.
Nozar has passionate about rehabilitative medicine, and he has been a clinician for almost 15 years. His journey to becoming a physiotherapist began in high school when he was involved in competitive Tennis. His own injuries led him to seek treatment from a physiotherapist where he became instantly interested in the profession.
Physiotherapy is an extremely rewarding career for Nozar. He considers himself extremely fortune for his unique experience abroad and was inspired by some of the most influential physiotherapists. He has completed numerous courses including:-

• Acupuncture Certification with “ Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute”
• Various Orthopaedics, Sports and Neurological Courses as Continuing Education

He is very interested in motor vehicle injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, chronic pain conditions, TMJ, peripheral nerve injury, and complex clinical cases. Nozar absolutely loves the challenges of diagnosing musculoskeletal dysfunction. In addition, he has a special interest in sport injuries and loves working with athletes anywhere on the spectrum from injury prevention to rehabilitation to sport performance.

Harjot graduated with Bachelors of Physiotherapy from Punjabi University, India in 2017, she worked as an intern in India's biggest rehabilitation center SVNIRTAR. She also worked as a physiotherapist in community care for 2 years where she gained experience treating patients with orthopedic, neurologic, trauma, surgical, and other diagnostic groups.
Recently she has been spent practicing in the field of orthopaedics , sports injuries and workplace injuries. She also has diploma in Leadership for Healthcare Professionals from Confederation College in Thunder Bay.
Her objective is to provide services that best suit the individual and their needs and promote an optimal return to health and activity. In her spare time , Harjot enjoys biking, hiking, gardening and trying new recipes.
